How to focus on the right problems

Wondering why your startup isn't taking off or feeling overwhelmed by too many priorities?

Succeeding often boils down to concentrating on the right things, helping you avoid the trap of complexity and the feeling of being lost in the "fog of war."

If you're a founder, aspiring entrepreneur, or anyone feeling scattered, this video will clarify why simplicity and a laser-like focus on making your customers' lives better are essential for winning.

2 quotes on point!

"If you hear a voice within you say ‘you cannot paint,’ then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced."
― Vincent Van Gogh

“Remember, you have been criticizing yourself for years, and it hasn't worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.”
― Louise Hay

3 Founder power moves – are you doing these?

1. Laser-focused on your ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)

Start by identifying who your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) is. This means going deep into the kind of customer that gets the most value from your product — their industry, job role, daily pain points, and goals. Once you know this, tailor everything — your messaging, features, and even support — around them.

For instance, if your product is a task manager, is it best for startup founders, marketing teams, or solopreneurs? Each of these groups speaks a different language and cares about different outcomes. A founder may want speed and visibility; a marketer may want integrations and campaign tracking.

2. Optimize activation & onboarding
Users churn fast if they don’t find value quickly. So, focus on reducing the time-to-value. This means helping users reach their “aha!” moment as soon as possible — ideally within minutes of signing up.

3.  Build growth loops, not just funnels
Funnels end. Loops keep going. Instead of just acquiring users through ads or SEO, think about how each user can bring in more users or more usage. Build a product that creates word of mouth, not just one time user experience.
